Long ago and faraway, I met a man that I knew was my soul mate. We fell in love, got married, and so far, have lived happily ever after. Except, now it isn't just us.
Four kids…
and one dog later,
we thought our minivan wasn't quite full enough, so we decided to have one more baby. In April of 2010, baby number five was born.
Happiness, and laundry abounds.
Mothering is the best job ever. It's crazy and insane and completely chaotic and absolutely rewarding every step of the way.
When it's hard...
because lets be real, sometimes it really is hard, I try and remember to laugh, and then I count my blessings. Even the hard days are blessed days. Of that, I'm certain.
When the children are all sleeping, and the dust has finally settled at the end of the day, I often stay up late and nurture my love for all things literary. I love to read beautiful and inspiring words, and for the first time in my lengthy 30 years of life, I'm taking seriously my desire to write them as well. My first manuscript was just accepted for publication and is slated for release in 2013.
Through it all, blogging keeps me sane. It's a creative outlet, a journal, a personal forum. And it's a marvelous way to stay in touch with all of you. Thanks for reading. I hope you stay a while, and find something worth reading, or worth laughing about. Because laughing? It makes the journey oh, so much better!
