So I have this thing about Random.org's random number generator. I don't do giveaways often, but when I do, random.org is generally how I pick a winner. And it always seems like it never, ever picks the top number, or the bottom number as the winner. It always picks one somewhere in the middle. I figured this can't actually be true. If it's random, it's random. And the highest number and the lowest number have just as much a chance of being selected as the other numbers. It just feels less likely. Just like it feels harder to roll a 1 or a 6 when you're playing Yahtzee. Just to see though, I generated random numbers until I got the number 1. It took eleven tries. So, you know, I guess it really is possible. (But I still don't like to be the first person to enter a giveaway.)
Even though I generated eleven random numbers, I remembered the first one that came up so I could make that person a winner. That number was 10, and that person is my awesome blog friend Lindsay. Lindsay, I'm so excited to send you your new CD, and an extra one for a friend too! To those of you who didn't win... you can get the digital download of the album off of Amazon for $4.99. How can you pass that up?!
So go, listen, be happy.

This is where I mention one more time that I was not compensated for the review of Mat Kearney's album. One2One Networks provided me with a copy to review, in exchange for my honest opinion, which I gave in all posts regarding the album. The CD's for the giveaway were provided by me, because I like the album, and I like my readers. That's all.
